Nature of Hearing: To educate the mutual members, who are both its policyholders and the ultimate owners, of Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho on the prospective acquisition of Mountain West Farm Bureau of Wyoming

Issues Involved: The transaction’s structure, the risks it presents, and how it preserves the statutory rights of mutual members per Idaho Code § 41-2831, which requires mutual insurers to operate solely in the interest of their member-owners.
