Idaho Public Meetings

About

Welcome to Townhall Idaho. Open and honest government is fundamental to a free society. The Idaho Legislature formalized our state’s commitment to open government by enacting the Idaho Open Meeting Law in 1974. To further this goal of open and honest government, the Townhall Idaho site was created.

On this site, you will be able to search and find information pertaining to all State Agencies and state-affiliated commissions' public meetings. At this time, only state-affiliated entities’ meetings can be found on Townhall Idaho. No local government entities’ meeting notices are currently displayed on the site.

This site was envisioned by Governor Little and developed in partnership with the State Controller Brandon Woolf’s office. Governor Little had the following vision for the site:

Giving Idahoans confidence in their state government has been one of Governor Brad Little's key priorities since he took office as Idaho's 33rd Governor in 2019.

Townhall.Idaho.Gov helps achieve the Governor’s goal of making it easier for the public to understand and engage in their government by offering an online one-stop-shop for accessing public meeting information for state executive agencies.

Over time, the goal is to expand the portal and continue to build upon ways to make state government as accessible and transparent as possible.

Governor Little appreciates the partnership of State Controller Brandon Woolf in delivering this service to the people of Idaho.
