Description
Under Idaho Statute 56-1029, the Council needs to hold a meeting to "designate a hospital as a trauma, stroke, or heart attack center when such hospital, upon proper application and verification, has been found by the council to meet the applicable level of trauma, stroke or heart attack center criteria as established by the council." Under Idaho Statute 56-1027 (4), the Council needs to hold a meeting to "Members of the council shall serve four (4) year terms with half of the members initially appointed, as determined by lot, serving two (2) year terms. If a vacancy occurs, the governor shall appoint a replacement to fill the unexpired term. Members may be reappointed and shall serve at the pleasure of the governor."
